This is the personal web site of Benjamin Kirkby. I currently teach graphic design, web design and photography at Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Arizona.

In addition to the pedagogical arts, I offer services such as design and development of standards compliant web sites for screen and mobile devices. I also offer a full range of photographic services including special events, weddings, portraits, advertising and editorial work. I am available for print based graphic design work as well as video services. If you are a small business and want your very own design department, send me an email and tell me about your needs.

More recently I am beginning work on a new endeavor to offer Family History and Biography videos. These would be fully custom, high quality, documentary style videos that would mix live interviews with personal photos, memoirs, audio, old videos, etc., to capture and preserve the stories and history of loved ones. In addition to DVDs of the biography, family web sites and custom designed coffee table books will be available as well.

This past year I purchased a 35mm film scanner and have begun the slow process of organizing and digitizing my archive of negatives. I plan on launching a new and improved 'photos' area on this web site that will eventually include the ability to search and tag images, log in to a personal account and even upload photos to the different galleries.
