Assignment #3 :: Vector animation

Due Tuesday, October 9th

Objective:

Animations using vector graphics are a staple of the internet based animation. Vector graphics allow for easy creation and optimized file sizes that work well over the limited bandwidth of the internet. In this project we will explore the basics of vector animation using Adobe Flash. This project will concentrate on character development and will be an animated self portrait that will be built for online viewing. Often referred to as an avatar, this online representation of yourself will show a significant moment, experience or event in your life. The character and the story should both reflect upon your personality. Audio is also required in this project. Audio may be pulled from existing sources such as sound effects, music, etc. As always, I encourage you to include original sounds as much as possible.
