Assignment #1 :: Stop motion animation

Due Tuesday, September 11th

Objective:

This assignment explores the most basic principles of animation, frame by frame action. For this assignment you will need to create a storyboard for a short stop motion animation. The animation can cover any subject matter and you may use any type of physical object in it, i.e. you may not include any drawings or illustrations. Once you have a storyboard you will create the animation using still photographs. The animation can include as many or as few still images as is needed. The animation should be at least 10 seconds but no more than 60 seconds with an approximate frame rate of 10fps (frames per second).
